Terms and Conditions: North Star Global Education
1. Legal Framework and Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws and regulations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
2. ISO 9001:2015 Quality Commitment
North Star Global Education operates under a Quality Management System aligned with ISO 9001:2015 standards.
- We are committed to the principle of Continual Improvement in our consultancy processes.
- All services are delivered following documented procedures to ensure consistency, transparency, and high customer satisfaction.
- We regularly conduct internal audits and client feedback reviews to maintain the highest global standards of educational placement.
3. Data Privacy and PDPL Compliance (Mandatory Consent)
In accordance with the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL), issued under Royal Decree No. (M/19), the Client provides explicit consent for the following:
- Data Collection: The Consultancy will collect personal and sensitive data (academic records, national ID/Iqama, financial statements) strictly required for university and visa applications.
- Purpose Limitation: Data will only be processed for the purposes disclosed at the time of collection.
- Data Sovereignty: We implement robust technical and organizational measures to keep your data safe within the Kingdom, ensuring no unauthorized cross-border transfer unless required by the specific educational institution abroad.
- Client Rights: Under PDPL, the Client has the right to access, destroy, or rectify their data. By signing the attached Consent Form, the Client acknowledges that providing this data is a prerequisite for our services.
4. Scope of Advisory Services
- Advisory Role: Our services are limited to professional guidance. Decisions regarding admissions and visas remain the sole prerogative of the respective universities and government embassies.
- Accuracy of Information: In line with Saudi commercial regulations, the Client is responsible for the authenticity of all documents provided. Providing forged documents is a violation of Saudi law and will result in immediate termination of services.
5. Fees and VAT
- All consultancy fees are subject to Value Added Tax (VAT) at the prevailing rate (currently 15%) as mandated by the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA).
- Fees are payable in Saudi Riyals (SAR) unless otherwise agreed.
6. Transparency and Ethical Conduct
Consistent with local business ethics and our ISO 9001 commitment:
- The Consultancy does not accept or offer “side payments” to guarantee admissions.
- We maintain a clear “Conflict of Interest” policy to ensure our recommendations are always in the best interest of the student.
7. Website Use & Intellectual Property
The content on www.nsge.net (including logos, graphics, text, and proprietary counselling methods) is the exclusive property of North Star Global Education.
- Users are granted a limited license to view and download materials for personal, non-commercial use only.
- Any unauthorized reproduction or distribution of our materials is a violation of Saudi Intellectual Property laws.
8. Force Majeure (Unforeseen Events)
North Star Global Education shall not be held liable for delays or failure to perform services resulting from sectors outside our control, including but not limited to:
- Global pandemics or health-related travel restrictions.
- Changes in international diplomatic relations affecting visa issuance.
- Technical failures of university application portals or government websites.
9. Third-Party Links & Partners
Our website may contain links to external sites (Universities, English Testing centers like IELTS/TOEFL, or Embassies).
- We do not endorse or assume responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of these third-party websites.
- Any transactions made between the Client and these third parties are independent of the Consultancy.
10. Communication Policy
By using our website “Contact Us” or “Apply Now” forms, you agree to be contacted by our Jeddah office via:
- Official WhatsApp Business: For rapid updates.
- Email: For formal documentation.
- Phone: For interview coaching.
- In accordance with ISO 9001, all formal communications are logged to ensure service quality and “evidence-based decision making.”
11. Termination of Service
The Consultancy reserves the right to terminate the service agreement immediately, without refund, if:
- The Client provides fraudulent or forged documents (e.g., fake bank statements or transcripts).
- The Client uses abusive language or behaviour toward our staff.
- The Client fails to pay the agreed-upon instalments within [Number] days of the due date.
12. Amendments to Terms
North Star Global Education reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time to reflect changes in Saudi Law (SDAIA/PDPL) or our internal ISO Quality Manual.
